DELIVERIES

There are some real horror stories about Captains who damage a boat during a delivery.  We have listened when boat owners told us that they were not informed of the damage, and found it later themselves.  Then there is the classic line: “Your insurance will cover it.”  In some cases, the boat owner is not able to get in touch with the Captain for days while they are making the delivery.  We knew the need was there to help boaters.

American Boating Services offers both local and long distance deliveries performed by USCG licensed Captains.

LOCAL DELIVERIES:

When you and your family want to take a trip in the CT, RI, NY area, but you do not have the time to get to and from the destination, American Boating Services can help.  We will pick your vessel up from your home port, bring it to the destination of your choice, and have it ready and waiting for you.  Now you can start enjoying your time away.    This will allow you to spend more time enjoying the locations you choose with your family, not having to worry about the trip to and from. 

If an emergency arises and you need to leave your boat at a destination, one-way deliveries are also available.  We will captain your vessel safely back to your home port, and you can tend to the emergency.

LONG DISTANCE:

These deliveries are made on the East Coast and require the captain to be away for multiple days.  All of our Captains have years of experience and have made the trip both north and south, on the intercoastal waterway and outside.  We will treat your boat with the same respect as if it were our own.  You always have the confidence of being able to call American Boating Services and talk to someone – questions, concerns, whatever it is we can help with.
